“Spring” is not always the right answer. This article discusses many of the reasons other times of the year might be better. There are others For instance several years ago I had some clients that I pushed really hard to get their first time buyer level property on the market before a well utilized government subsidy program ended. I noted it was creating irrational exuberance in the market. It was a stretch for them to get it ready in time but they did, we got a great price right away and then the market slowed dramatically only a week later after the program ended.
