Don’t do it! Know what you can safely store in your garage.
In the course of looking at north of 20,000 homes I’ve seen a lot of sellers, apparently short on interior storage space, make some tragic mistakes on what they stored in their garage. It’s a good way to ruin what you stored, cause damage or invite in pests and other hazards. Here’s a great article on what to avoid.
